I am a highly specialist physiotherapist with an experience of over 11 years. My key interests in life- exercising, reformer Pilates and helping people understand there injuries and what they can do to prevent them.
Richard was an NHS Senior Consultant at West Herts Health Trust from 1991 – 2015, and now concentrates on his private obstetric and gynaecology practice based at Spire Bushey Hospital in Hertfordshire, with births taking place at the world renowned Queen Charlottes & Chelsea Maternity Hospital in Shepherds Bush.
I had always enjoyed doing Pilates as part of my own exercise regime, but it wasn’t until I decided to make a complete career change from being a PA in the City to training to be a Pilates teacher that I fully appreciated the importance of Pilates in all different aspects of my life.
Sarah completed her midwifery degree in 2001 after having three children of her own, fulfilling a long-held ambition to become a midwife. She is experienced in all areas of midwifery, and until May 2009 worked as an NHS midwife in the high risk maternity unit and on the labour ward.
Through experience in clinical environments such as rehabilitation of the elderly, paediatrics, intensive care and musculoskeletal outpatients, I have gained a thorough understanding of the different areas of physiotherapy and the need to develop individual programmes for every patient.
Since graduating with a degree in Midwifery in 2002, I have worked as a midwife within the NHS. I also qualified as an Osteopath and I specialise in pregnancy-related musculoskeletal pains, breastfeeding issues and Cranial Osteopathy with newborns and children.
