Sarah Dennings antenatal classes held at Spire Bushey were excellent! My husband and I had 5 antenatal sessions with her and she covered everything in a simple straightforward way. We felt incredibly informed, comfortable and reassured. She gave us lots of information on labour, what happens to the baby, pain-relief options, and suggested items to have in the hospital bag - one for the expecting mum and one for the baby. She had lots of props to visualise and to help us understand the different aspects. She is a senior midwife with many years of experience and we felt great having someone so experienced to ask questions to. I would highly recommend these antenatal classes with Sarah. Definitely money and time well spent! Thanks Sarah
Want to highly recommend The Knowledge Ante-natal classes with midwife Sarah Denning at Spire Bushey; We learned so much and in such detail in those 6 weeks that we feel blessed, very reassured and now really well-prepared for the forthcoming birth of our baby in about 3 weeks time! The abundant equipment Sarah brought in to demonstrate certain things in each class made everything that was explained so much clearer, and Fran's Resus / baby first-aid class was invaluable and an excellent class. We feel every expecting couple should do this course of 6 classes! The course is quite unique and Sarah's knowledge is first-class, and she explains things in such a clear way, and also makes the course fun too with her great sense of humour. Thank you Sarah, we feel very lucky to have done your course!
Came to visit Andrew with my daughter after hearing how great he was with children, my daughter had been suffering with torticollis since 5 weeks of age and after seeing numerous consultants at different clinics and private hospitals, and not getting anywhere we decided to try an osteopath...I'm so glad we did. My daughter is just turning one and she hasn't had any seizures or head tilts for 6 months now,we had 3 treatments with Andrew and that was the best thing we've ever done and if Aaliyah develops any problems in the future then our trust is only with Andrew at Perfect Balance from now on. 100% would recommend and certainly worth our travel.
We visited Sara Randall twice for Cranial osteopathy at Perfect Balance as my young son (6 weeks old) suffered with extremely bad colic. Since the two sessions we have seen a huge improvement in him which has made him a much happier baby. We found Sara friendly and professional and her extensive knowledge has helped us in all aspects of his feeding and winding. We cannot thank her enough for how much she has helped us.
I cannot recommend Sara Randall enough to new parents who have babies that can't settle or new mothers' who are finding breastfeeding challenging! We took our five week old baby to her as I had a difficult labour and, at 5 weeks, he was unsettled, had colic and was also finding it hard to have long feeds. Not only did she really help our baby as a cranial osteopath she also helped me with my breastfeeding technique. I had a different happy baby after the session and I felt so much more confident with my breastfeeding. We only needed one follow up session before she discharged us. Her advice, support and professionalism was amazing! I highly recommend her to new parents. Thank you so much Sara for all your help and advice!
Sara (magic boob lady as she's known amongst our mums group!) was a lifesaver when I had my second bout of mastitis. She was able to see me the next day and used an ultrasound on it which was pain free and cleared the blockage without me spending hours massaging an already painful area. I'd recommend it to anyone and certainly will be back at the first sign of a blocked duct again. As for Sara she really cares about making things better and trying to help you on your breastfeeding journey however she can.
I went to see Sara as my baby had terrible colic. Sara's treatment came as a miracle to us. I first heard about cranial osteopathy on the Internet but wasn't sure if it was such a wonder cure as people claimed it to be. After the first session we came home and there was no crying. She had made an improvement of about 60% I couldn't believe it. After 2 more sessions my little one was 100% better. Sara also helped me with breast feeding which made me feel so much more confident and made it a lot easier for us. She has a wealth of knowledge in not only osteopathy but being a midwife and having children of her own really helps her understand exactly what you are going through. Sara had the answer for pretty much every question I asked and I ask a lot of questions. She is a Genius. I just wish I had seen her sooner.
I was recommended by my midwife, to see Sara at Perfect Balance Clinic, following a problem with severe lower back, pelvic and sciatica pain. The pain was so bad I could barely walk. I had three sessions in total and each time Sara worked her magic. I am now pain free and can’t thank Sara enough for all her help. Sara is very professional, personable and highly knowledgeable. During every treatment I felt Sara’s extensive knowledge/experience gave me the confidence that my baby and I were in safe hands. After my second session (very early morning - just before our drive to the airport) my back was taped-up with K-tape. Amazing! I was pain free for the entire flight and journey. I removed the tape once I arrived and did not need to use any more for the duration of my holiday. I had a very enjoyable and pain free holiday, thanks to Sara. I would highly recommend Sara and Perfect Balance Clinic. Sara is an outstanding osteopath.
'We took our son to the perfect balance clinic on recommendation and we have been delighted with the professional, informative and very personable service that we have received. Our son was suffering from reflux and a couple of trips to the perfect balance clinic has helped to relieve his symptoms. Sara was very gentle and informative which was great for our son and for us as first time parents! Many thanks for providing such excellent care.'
I saw Sara with traumatised nipples, one of which had been previously inverted. Both nipples were red, bloody, raw and very sore, causing breast feeding to be very difficult. Both nipples were treated with K laser, which both reduced the pain and increased the healing which enabled me to maintain breast feeding. Over a period of a few weeks I noticed a significant improvement, with both nipples pain free and no longer red or weeping. My only regret is that I didn't see her earlier, though I'm sure that breast feeding in following pregnancies, will now be a much more positive experience.
Reflecting back on the laser I think it definitely increased the rate of healing. I felt like the wound and pain stayed the same for weeks on end and the laser seemed to kick start the healing. After the first treatment there was a noticeable change in the look of it and pain was reduced. It was good to have you monitor it week to week and explain what was going on physically. It was reassuring that you could see the progress and describe it to me. I also think it was good for me mentally to go and do something about it rather than just waiting for the Doctors check. After having a baby I think having some control of your own recovery can be hugely beneficial. The treatment being non-invasive is also such a benefit mentally and physically. I don't think I could have coped with ANY painful treatments at that time but felt that I needed to do something myself to help the healing. It is quite difficult to be patient with the healing when you've been through so much. You just want to be back to 'yourself' as quickly as possible.
I first saw Sara at Perfect Balance after I'd had my first baby. She really helped me with my postnatal recovery and was very knowledgeable. She also treated my baby and he became much more settled after just 2 treatments. As Sara then went on maternity leave, it was recommended that I saw Lauren after I'd had my second baby. I found Lauren to be extremely good with babies and young children and her work also helped my second baby to settle. After having 2 children quite close together, I was keen to get back into shape and was advised to go and see Slim for a course of Pilates. I've been going for 6 weeks now and have found the sessions really helpful. My stomach muscles are coming back together, my pelvic floor is recovering well and I feel that my shape is improving as muscles are becoming more toned and posture is corrected. I am so impressed with the classes that Slim provides; I would highly recommend them to anyone who has recently had a baby.
Perfect Balance Clinic has been a pure godsend to me. I first visited when i was 18 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby. My back was once again 'playing up' and i felt at ease seeing Sara who was also a qualified Midwife. Within 4 app's i was totally pain free! Sara not only gave me the help i required, but also lots of fab advice. I returned for a couple of sessions with my newborn daughter for cranial osteopathy with both Sara and Lauren - this def helped and their approach and manner was faultless. I attend a weekly Pilates class run by Slim (in my opinion, the GOD of Pilates!) who is helpful and very personal to YOUR needs. Love that class! Just recently, since the birth of my now, 1year old daughter who weighs a ton, i have been experiencing severe back/buttock pain. I have been seeing Carly. She has been AMAZING! She explains everything linked to your problems and does everything she can to advise and treat your problem. She has e-mailed me to check how my treatment has been and i can't rate her enough. I mentioned that i would like some acupuncture and she was straight on to it organising to fit around my busy life! MAGIC HANDS! If you want a clinic that is professional yet personal and treat you as a person, not just your ailments, then Perfect Balance is the one!
I took my 8 week old baby to see Sara Randall at the clinic as he was suffering from signs of colic, waking each night between 3am and 7am with stomach cramps and severe wind. I was not sure if cranial osteopathy would work but after weeks of no sleep and having tried all sorts of remedies, I wanted to give it a go. I was delighted when my son showed signs of improvement after only one session and after two sessions were completely relieved of the colic symptoms. Sara is extremely knowledgeable and professional and I would highly recommend this service to anyone whose baby is proving difficult and unsettled in the early months.
I cannot recommend Perfect Balance highly enough, I visited them with my twin girls when they were just a few weeks old, they and in turn me and my husband had been struggling since they were born, they cried all the time and had a large number of colic like symptoms. Sara Randall was fantastic she assessed both girls to see if they was anything she could do to help. Being twins there wasn't much room in the womb and my girls needed straightening out, this in turn released pressure on their little tummies, which stopped the constant hiccups and trapped wind. After each session the girls were far more relaxed and not scrunched up in little balls screaming all day long, and managed to get some decent sleep, which in turn meant we did too. One of my girls was always sleeping and putting her head to one side, Sara managed to work on this problem and she now doesn't do this and her head is no longer flat on one side. Sara gave me such great support and understanding of the problems my girls had. She offered different burping techniques which work fantastically. Anyone who has a baby I can't recommend highly enough taking your little one for a session or two with Sara, she works wonders!
